Virtual HamFests 2021

Virtual Hamfests 2021

Want a way to visit Hamfests around the USA without leaving home?

I discovered virtual hamfests on line this past summer 2020.

I had participated in the QSO Today virtual hamfest in August and on January 23 visited the St Louis and Suburban Radio Club Winterfest. The presentations were great! AND I had a chance to learn something new in the hobby.

The HamCation virtual Hamfest based in Orlando FL had many presentations on: how to, techniques, radios, and radio related gear.

I hope everyone takes the time to visit the Maine Virtual Hamfest March 6, 2020. with talks from some big names in the hobby like Dr. Bob Heil (K9EID) as well as other interesting forums. There is a link below for more information.

As I find more virtual hamfests I will have links here.

Rocky Mountain Ham Radio, New Mexico is pleased to announce the 2021 New  Mexico TechFest, an ARRL-sanctioned operating specialty event, on Saturday February 27, 2021.  Due  to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty around New Mexico’s  public health orders, this year’s event will be conducted virtually.

LIMARC HamFest

March 6- MAINE VIRTUAL HAMFEST - SATURDAY MARCH 6 FROM 9-4

We hope this will be a successful event that can capture the interest of hams in Maine. I am pleased to announce that Dr. Bob Heil (K9EID) will be presenting at this event! We will also have various stateside talent providing talks on SKYWARN, FT8, Antenna discussion and an ARRL Forum so folks are aware of what is going on around the State and at the New England/National Level at ARRL.

There will be an opportunity for clubs and groups to have their own meetings during talks as well. If your group is interested in reserving a virtual room to have a meeting please follow this link to fill out the form. Hamfest Meeting Room Request Form

This event is FREE. I know that price pleases many people and why wouldn’t it? Please understand that the conference talks will be limited to 1000 people. We are asking that people register so that we can have a headcount of how many people to expect to attend virtually.

Beyond conference talks and meetings, there will be an “Eyeball QSO” room to visit.
